			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The World of Warcraft Remote Auction House beta test is now open for business! The Remote Auction House is a new service in development that lets players access the World of Warcraft Auction House from the Armory website (http://us.wowarmory.com/auctionhouse/) or the Mobile Armory app for iPhone and iPod touch (here). Players can browse their characters’ local Auction Houses with the same search functionality available in the game, as well as see the real-time status of each of their current bids and auctions.</p>
<p>As we’d mentioned previously, certain features of the Remote Auction House will be premium-based. Once the beta test is complete and the Remote Auction House is live, players will be able to subscribe to a new service called World of Warcraft Remote (http://us.wowarmory.com/wow-remote.xml), which will allow them to buy items; post items for sale from a character’s bags, bank, or mailbox; collect gold from their bids and auctions; and more. During the beta test, players can try out these features for free, and each World of Warcraft account will be able to perform up to 25 transactions per day. (Please note this limit will be increased at launch.)<br />

<p> <strong>What is the World of Warcraft Remote Auction House beta test?</strong><br />
The Remote Auction House is a new feature, currently undergoing beta testing, that allows players to log in to the Armory and browse any Auction House that the characters on their World of Warcraft account have access to. Once beta testing is complete and the Remote Auction House is live, players who subscribe to an upcoming service called World of Warcraft Remote will also be able to bid on or buy out existing auctions; post items for sale from their bags, bank, and mailbox; and collect gold that they earn in auctions or that is returned as a result of being outbid, all through the web or their compatible mobile device. During the beta-testing period, players will be able to try out and test all of these features, including premium features such as making bids and posting auctions, without a subscription to World of Warcraft Remote.</p>
<p><strong>How do I browse the Remote Auction House via the web?</strong><br />
After you log in and designate a primary character, click on the Browse Auctions tab, and then enter the search term in the field. You can narrow your search using the filters and options, which are similar to those available in the game. To switch between the character’s faction-specific auction house and the realm’s neutral auction house, click the faction symbol in the upper-right corner of the interface. A World of Warcraft Remote subscription will not be required to browse the Auction House in this fashion; however, please note that after the beta test concludes, you will need to subscribe to World of Warcraft Remote in order to bid on or buy out items from the results window.</p>
<p><strong>How do I create auctions?</strong><br />
From the Create Auctions tab, select the item you wish to sell from the list on the left side of the screen. You can sell any transferable item (excluding account-bound items) from your bags, bank, or mailbox. Once selected, you can set a starting price, a buyout price, the quantity you wish to sell, and the number of stacks (to create multiple auctions for that item). Please note that after the beta test concludes, you will need a subscription to World of Warcraft Remote in order to create auctions.</p>
<p><strong>How can I collect gold from successful auctions and unsuccessful bids?</strong><br />
To collect gold from a successful auction, click the My Auctions tab, and then click the Claim Gold button next to the successful auction, or the Claim All Gold button to claim the gold from all successful auctions. The gold will be removed from your mailbox and given to your character. You can also reclaim gold from unsuccessful bids on the My Bids tab. Please note that after the beta test concludes and the live service launches, you will need a subscription to World of Warcraft Remote to use these features.</p>
<p><strong>How will I subscribe to World of Warcraft Remote?</strong><br />
Subscriptions to World of Warcraft Remote are not yet available; we’ll have more information about how to subscribe after the Remote Auction House beta test concludes. In the meantime, you can visit the World of Warcraft Remote FAQ for more information.</p>
<p><strong>Is there a limit to the number of transactions (purchases and sales) I can make?</strong><br />
Yes. In order to help prevent abuse of this service, there will be a system in place to limit the total number of Auction House transactions (including bids, buyouts, and creating auctions) that a single World of Warcraft account can perform through World of Warcraft Remote each day. For the purposes of the beta test, the limit is set to 25 transactions per day per World of Warcraft account. When the Remote Auction House beta test ends and the live World of Warcraft Remote service launches, we plan to increase the limit to 200 transactions per day (with a World of Warcraft Remote subscription), though this limit is subject to change. Our goal with this system is to ensure that most players who are using the service will not reach the limit, and we will be continuously monitoring how the service is used and making adjustments to the system as needed.</p>
<p><strong>Is the Remote Auction House affected by weekly maintenance?</strong><br />
The Remote Auction House will be unavailable during periods of downtime, which includes the weekly Tuesday maintenance period. In addition, during the beta-testing period, the service may be unavailable for periods of time for testing purposes.</p>
<p><strong>Who can participate in the World of Warcraft Remote Auction House beta test?</strong><br />
The Remote Auction House beta test is open to existing World of Warcraft players on select realms — you do not need to sign up to participate. For a complete list of realms currently participating in the beta test, visit the Remote Auction House Beta Test thread in the official World of Warcraft forums. If you do not see your realm listed, check back later, as we plan to expand the beta test to all realms in the future.</p>

<p><strong>World of Warcraft PTR Patch 3.3.5</strong></p>

<p><strong>General</strong></p>
<p>    * The Ruby Sanctum, an all-new 10- and 25-player raid featuring normal and Heroic difficulties, is now available for testing! Players will find the dungeon entrance below Wyrmrest Temple in Dragonblight.<br />
    * Copied Test Realm characters are not copied with their achievement history in order to better facilitate the character copy process.</p>
<p><strong>User Interface</strong></p>
<p>    * Chat Frame<br />
          o Players can now right-click on any chat type (Whisper, Trade, General, Party, Raid, etc.) and choose the Pop Out Chat option. This will move that chat type to a separate tab in the Chat frame which can be undocked and moved anywhere on the screen.<br />
                + Using the Pop Out Chat option on a Whisper will place the conversation with that player in a separate tab.<br />
                + Any time a conversation with another player is put into its own tab, the tab will glow when a new message is received.<br />
          o Hovering over the Chat Frame and using the mouse wheel will allow players to scroll through chat text.<br />
          o Players can select Classic Mode under Interface Options to keep the Chat Frame functionality closer to what it was prior to patch 3.3.5.<br />
          o The Simple Chat User Interface option has been removed.<br />
    * Friends List<br />
          o A new icon has been added to the top left of the Chat Frame which will open up the Friends list.<br />
          o In addition to its current functionality, the Friends List will now allow players to add Battle.net accounts (Real ID). Players will have to confirm that they are friends in order for a Real ID to be added. Once Real ID friends, players can communicate cross-game, cross-faction and cross-realm.<br />
          o A new Pending tab has been added where players can accept or decline a Real ID friend request, or select the Report Spam or Block Communications buttons.<br />
          o Players can now select from three statuses which will be visible to their friends: Available, Away and Busy.<br />
          o A Broadcast window has been added to the top of the frame. Players can use this to broadcast a message to all of their Real ID friends online. This message will also be displayed under the broadcaster’s Real ID information in each friend’s list.<br />

<p>We&#8217;re continuing to refine the badge/emblem and PvP point systems in Cataclysm and we&#8217;d like to share some of those changes with you today. Please enjoy!</p>
<p>Our primary goal when approaching badges in Cataclysm is to address a lot of the confusion that comes with these currency systems. To that end we&#8217;re changing badges to a more straightforward point system, similar to the ones we&#8217;ve used for a while for Arenas and Battlegrounds. There will be a total of four types of points you can earn in Cataclysm (two for PvE and two for PvP), and these will remain the same even as we introduce new content.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the breakdown:</p>
<p>PvE<br />
Hero Points &#8212; Low-tier, easier-to-get PVE points. Maximum cap to how many you can own, but no cap to how quickly you can earn them. Earned from most dungeons. (most like the current Emblem of Triumph)<br />
Valor Points &#8212; High-tier, harder-to-get PvE points. Maximum cap to how many you can own, as well as a cap to how many you can earn per week. Earned from Dungeon Finder daily Heroic and from raids. (most like the current Emblem of Frost)</p>
<p>PvP<br />
Honor Points &#8212; Low-tier, easier-to-get PVP points. There will be a maximum cap to how many you can own, but no cap to how quickly you can earn them. Earned from most PvP activities.<br />
Conquest Points &#8212; High-tier, harder-to-get PvP points. There will be a maximum cap to how many you can own, and a cap to how many you can earn per week. Earned from winning Rated Battlegrounds or Arenas. (currently called Arena Points)</p>
<p>When a new tier of raiding gear is released or a new PvP season begins, your higher tier of points will be converted into the lower tier. For instance, if a new tier of raid gear is released, your Valor points will be converted to Hero points, and similarly if a new PvP season begins your Conquest points will be converted to Honor points. Of course that means with these new releases you&#8217;ll always begin without any of the higher tier of points, and thus be unable to stockpile them.</p>
<p>As noted for Conquest points, the Rated Battlegrounds and Arenas will be sharing this same point type. Because of that, it will in fact be possible to get the best PvP items without setting foot in Arena; however, more powerful armor and weapons will of course require more Conquest points, so players who win their matches more often will still gear up faster. We&#8217;re removing personal rating requirements on almost all items; they&#8217;re definitely removed for weapons. We might offer a few items to the absolute best players based on personal rating, largely as cosmetic or &#8216;bragging rights&#8217; type items. And you&#8217;ll have the option of purchasing the previous season’s gear with the more readily available Honor points.</p>
<p>We do plan to have a way to convert Honor points (PvP) into Hero points (PvE), and vice versa, at a loss. The conversions will be possible, but it won&#8217;t be a 1:1 rate, and you&#8217;ll have fewer points after the conversion process. We won&#8217;t allow the higher tiers to be exchanged for each other, however.</p>
<p>To explain the reasoning for the weekly cap on points for the higher tiers, this is to provide flexibility in how players choose to earn the points without feeling like they have to do all of the content as often as it is available. If your Valor income from raiding is sufficient, you may not feel the need to run Dungeon Finder every night, or perhaps even at all. Likewise, a PvP player could choose to participate in a lot of Rated Battlegrounds but no Arenas, or focus on both, and still be able to earn the points they want.</p>
<p>We realize that with any changes to progression pathways there are going to be questions. We&#8217;re eagerly awaiting any that we may have left unanswered. To the comments!</p>

<p>For quite some time now, I’ve been in multiboxing and I have been searching for this mutiboxing software that will perfectly fit me. To give you a brief history, I have multiboxed a $5000 hardware setup. It was really great but it didn’t do things with the kind of precision that I needed. </p>
<p>What forced me to write a review on this is that I have been interested in this kind of software for quite a long time now and I have not seen enough writings on this. </p>
<p>Well, what is really a Pwnboxer? This is a multiboxing suite by previous chief executive officer of wowhead.com. This kind of software is made to be simple and very easy to use. This will allow you to control 2-10 characters at the same time. This has lots of features like keyboard broadcasting and the mouse. Also with custom game settings and increase in performance on old PCs. </p>
<p>There are actually a lot of new features for the Pwnboxer. To name some is the dockable click mapping. This will allow you to send commands in your characters with just a click of the mouse. Also it can manage healing, tanking, AOEs and the DPS all at once. </p>
<p>The very first time I heard in Pwnboxer, I thought it to be no good. I thought that the way to multibox is a complex of PCs and displays. All of them are networked together with KVM switches with a bunch of hardware. </p>
<p>When I tried this, I got a full 180. It was when I discovered that I can actually manage a 5 man team. Here is how this works. </p>
<p>Upon starting this, you set up the game windows as well as the buttons for switching the game windows. Switching from one window to the other in just a second is even possible. Also it is possible to setup the window with graphic settings. This will let you run 5 copies of WoW all together. </p>
<p>Setting up your keyboard and mouse broadcasting in all the windows will separate the macros or skills on the characters. Healing your team is simple when you do mouse dissemination. </p>
<p>The pwnboxer will duplicate the keystrokes in multiple windows. This means that there is no automation going on. It is easy to use and you will own people who are using scripts to run many characters while they are risking the chance of being banned. </p>
<p>Again, they are very simple and intuitive. There will be no trouble using them when you take five minutes in setting them. It definitely has all the applications of multiboxing. In addition to this, they are dockable clickmaps. If you are into this, then this is all you need. You won’t have any worries in buying anything to run your team; this multiboxing software will do it all. This will surely help you in starting your team.<br />

<p>Configure Jamba options for all characters from just one character. No need to configure the addon on multiple characters.<br />
<strong>GroupManagement</strong></p>
<p>Create a complete party from among all your characters with just a few clicks. All your characters are listed within Jamba. Pick a number of these to use and with a single click invite them all to your group (they will automatic accept your invitation).</p>
<p>Automatically set loot methods when creating a party. When you create a party, Jamba can automatically set the loot method to &#8220;Free For All&#8221; or &#8220;Master Looter&#8221;. Characters can be set to automatically opt out of loot.<br />
<strong>Quest Management</strong></p>
<p>Quest selections on one character are mirrored by your other characters. There is no need tomanage quests on each character. Open up the quest dialog from the quest giver on each character and then perform the actions with your master character. The other characters will mimic the master character.</p>
<p>Control what quest rewards each character selects. When using quest mirroring, when completing a quest requires a reward, Jamba allows reward selection on each character before completion.</p>
<p>Many other configurable options for quest automation. For teams of all the same class, Jamba allows for full mirroring of quest actions. Quests can be automatically accepted. Escort quests can be automatically joined.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Information</strong></p>
<p>Jamba is divided into modules. The core Jamba options involve configuring the multi-boxer&#8217;s group of characters and setting one of the characters to be the master character. The available modules are:</p>
<p>    * Jamba-Core: Configure your group.<br />
    * Jamba-Follow: Manage character follow interactions, including strobing follow commands, automatically following after combat.<br />
    * Jamba-Group: Automate group invitations.<br />
    * Jamba-Merchant: Automate merchant interactions: buying, selling and repairing.<br />
    * Jamba-No: Automate declining duel and guild invitations.<br />
    * Jamba-Me: Automatically accept ressurection requests, send warnings to the master character.<br />
    * Jamba-Quest: Broadcast quest selection, completion, abandoning and declining from master to slaves. Fine control can be taken over exactly what is broadcast. For instance, the module has the ability to broadcast quest completion only where completing the quest does not require a choice of rewards.<br />
    * Jamba-Talk: Relay whispers from slaves to master. Includes targeted re-whispers and chat snippets to reduce typing for commonly whispered text. Also includes ability to forward (some) system messages from slaves to master.<br />
    * Jamba-Target: Provides a targeting system, using raid icons (moom, skull, cross, etc) allow mobs to be marked and their health to be watched. Also creates /targetexact MobName macros on all characters for these marked mobs. Great for a predefined kill list.<br />
    * Jamba-Taxi: Slaves take the same flight as the master. (Flight paths are selected by destination name so there is no chance that slaves will fly somewhere they should not.)</p>
<p>Each module has a button at the top of its option page that you can use to push the settings displayed on that page to each character in your group that is online and enabled. Use this feature to avoid configuring the same options more than once. Please note that any pushed settings will override existing settings.</p>
<p>Installation</p>
<p>Jamba is a fully self-contained addon. You do not need any other addons for Jamba to operate. Copy Jamba-0.5a.zip to your World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons folder. Unzip Jamba-0.5a.zip. (The zip file already contains the Jamba and associated module addons.) Do this for all characters you wish to use Jamba for (both master and slaves).</p>

<li>For Vile  Like Fire!, leave your team mounted (flying) and only enter the vehicle with your lead character.</li>

<p><strong>North Central Citadel (243.30</strong><strong> gold</strong><strong>)</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Fly South East from the Vault to (55,29)  and do Not a Bug.  From there, head to (48,32)  and do Retest Now.  Then fly up the  stairs/ramp into the building and complete No Rest for the  Wicked. Finally fly south along the ramparts to Drag and Drop.</li>
<li>For Not a Bug, kill the necromancer first, then use Rod of Siphoning  (all toons at once) on the voidwalker. 10 seconds after its killed, you  can no longer siphon Dark Matter; Summoning Stone is over the edge at 54,34.  The necromancers drop the piece for  Retest Now.</li>
<li>In Retest Now (48,32), each mob is  lootable by everyone, so the minimum required kills is 10, not 50.  Completing this quest gets you a 2-hour (Icecrown) buff. Dark (eastern) =  +spell power, Green (middle) = Stamina, and Blue (western) = +attack  power.</li>
<li>In No Rest for the Wicked, pick up  Alumenth’s Artifacts (from the chests) on all five characters, have each  combine them to they survive log-out. This allows you to ignore  the trash on your next four visits.</li>
<li>Head to (55,46) for Drag and Drop,  initiates drop the orb, use on subjugators.</li>
<li>Hearth to Dalaran; have Officer Van  Rossem fly you to the Skybreaker, turn in all remaining quests.</li>

<strong>Introduction</strong><br />
While we can take a single toon and fly about gathering mineral or herbs, the same as any other one-boxer… and possibly even have a few toons doing the same at one time, switching between them. This is not really that much more efficient a means to make gold then we could do as single boxers.</p>
<p>Dailies are a decent method to compound our extra characters into more gold then a one-boxer makes, from doing the same thing as one character. It requires a route which is based off of either kills or drops where each toon can loot from every corpse. My current route takes 45 minutes on the first team and an hour on the other two teams, and makes 1100g in the process. But dailies are repetitive and boring, even if they are consistent. It is getting rather hard to make myself run the route each day.</p>
<p><strong>Something better…</strong><br />
I’ve read a few threads on making gold as a boxer. Dailies seemed to be the answer, but they are becoming a chore to do.</p>
<p>Transmutes on the other hand…</p>
<p>Your toon needs to be level 65, in order to advance to a 450 Alchemy skill. In addition, you would like to be 68th for the specialization; in our case Transmutation specialization (which requires 4x Primal Might – BC era, 1x Primal Fire/Water/Air/Earth/Mana).</p>
<p>Transmutation Specialization is a chance for 1-4 extra items to be made, for the same material cost. While it does not proc often, it will easily pay the cost of the 4x Primal Might after a couple of procs.</p>
<p>I currently have 22 toons who are 70th or above, and who have an open profession slot or a profession I don’t mind dumping. I’m really considering the Druids and Warlocks/Priest (pvp teams) as well, not sure that I want to level Engineering on them or not; 10 more Alchemists is decent coin. 20 to 30 toons, able to do transmutes.</p>
<p>There are currently six epic gem transmutes in the game. Five of them are vendor trained, while the sixth is the quest reward for having done five or more epic gem transmutes.</p>
<p>Chances are good, gems are here to stay. In Cataclysm, the skill level will likely be 75 higher then it is now, the gems will have a new name and better stats, but the system will be the same — which means the profit potential of the method will remain.</p>
<p>Checking the auction house for historical and current data, specifically the pre-transmute costs for the materials; on my server, they are:</p>
<p>- Ametrine (1x Eternal Shadow, 1x Monarch Topaz)….. 20 Gold<br />
- Cardinal Ruby (1x Eternal Fire, 1x Scarlet Ruby)…….. 80 Gold<br />
- Dreadstone (1x Eternal Shadow, 1x Twilight Opal)….. 25 Gold<br />
- Eye of Zul (3x Forest Emerald)………………………….. 20 Gold<br />
- King’s Amber (1x Eternal Life, 1x Autumn’s Glow)…… 35 Gold<br />
- Majestic Zircon (1x Eternal Air, 1x Sky Sapphire)……. 30 Gold</p>
<p>And then checking the value of the post-transmute (and cut) gems:</p>
<p>- Ametrine cuts, 165-210 Gold………………….. Up to +190 Gold<br />
- Cardinal Ruby cuts, 170-200 Gold……………. Up to +120 Gold<br />
- Dreadstone cuts, 150-250 Gold……………….. Up to +225 Gold<br />
- Eye of Zul cuts, 160-210 Gold…………………. Up to +180 Gold<br />
- King’s Amber cuts, 130-190 Gold……………… Up to +155 Gold<br />
- Majestic Zircon cuts, 130-190 Gold…………… Up to +160 Gold</p>
<p>Obviously, if you don’t have a Jewelcrafter capable of epic cuts, your profits will be less. However, the Jewelcraft daily is extremely easy to do — combine two gems (prospect ore or purchase on the AH), with a drop off of a low-mid 70th mob, for a couple of gold profit if you bought the gems on the AH. You also receive one jewelcraft token, and epic cuts cost 4 tokens each.</p>
<p><strong>Some Math</strong></p>
<p>Transmutes are on 20 hour cooldowns, which essentially means we get one transmute per day, for each character who is a 450 Alchemist.</p>
<p>When starting out, we will naturally make the most profitable gem transmute, based on the cost of the materials versus the sell price of the transmuted and cut gem. However, we will not want to flood the market as we would like our cut gems to actually sell.</p>
<p>Ideally, our Jewelcrafter will have several cuts. I have 8 so far, which means with 22 Alchemists, I would have approximately 3 of each gem for sale each day. With 32 Alchemists, I would have 4 of each gem up at once.</p>
<p>The more cuts we have, the more flexibility we have. If I had an epic cut for each epic gem I were to produce, this would be the ideal. I could post my one gem of each type, with an excellent chance it would sell. With a single cut and 20 gems placed, it is very unlikely all will sell within 20 hours and I again flood the market with 20 more of that gem. Our Jewelcrafter(s) are an important portion of the system.</p>
<p>The math… assuming an average of 150 gold profit on a transmute/cut.<br />
- 01 Alchemists = 0,150 Gold<br />
- 05 Alchemists = 0,750 Gold<br />
- 10 Alchemists = 1,500 Gold<br />
- 20 Alchemists = 3,000 Gold<br />
- 30 Alchemists = 4,500 Gold</p>
<p>Even running 30 Alchemists… It will be a relatively quick process to log six sets of toons into the game (5 toons per set), press a keybind which has the crafting macro on it, and then have my JC toon cut each gem, and have the auction toon list them. A quarter of the time of running dailies on the most geared team, and the profit of dailies on four teams.</p>
<p><strong>The Plan</strong></p>
<p>I detest farming, but at some points it will be necessary. There is an abundance of Northrend herbs on the auction house. There are generally enough Outland herbs, but this bracket can cost a fair bit. Classic warcraft era herbs are not always available in large enough quantities, which means farming will be required at times.</p>
<p>1) Run at least four teams through the daily route, over the course of two days. If you only have one team at 80th, adjust your plan to an alchemist every four days, instead of every two days. In my case, my route is 1,100g in 45 minutes on the main team, or an hour on the other two teams. The reason for 4 daily runs, is purely gold; AH purchasing everything has ranged from 2,700 to 3,800 gold.</p>
<p>2) Over the course of these two days, AH purchase as many herbs as possible of the types used for the alchemy guide you are following. There are numerous alchemy guides for free. A google search found this for me: WoW Alchemy Guide 1-450. It is not necessarily the best guide, but it works. It has general guidelines, such as 55x Sungrass, or whatever. I will over purchase as often as possible (at least until the last few toons), as the next Alchemist can use surplus herbs.</p>
<p>3) Level up an Alchemist every other day, using the herbs purchased. In the event of not enough herbs, have my herbalist toon do a little farming. I actually have a herbalist (and skinner/miner/enchanter) per team, so can have herbalists in three places at once. This is not the preferable option, but I’d rather farm a little then be at the mercy of hoping someone will list something.</p>
<p>4) Repeat the above process… hopefully cranking out an Alchemist every two days.</p>
<p>5) Run the Jewelcraft Daily, every day to expand my repetoire of cuts. The ideal, is one cut per Alchemist.</p>
<p><strong>Some Macros</strong></p>
<p>This one is over 255 characters, if you leave it intact you’ll need an addon which allows for longer macros… something like IS Boxer, Macaroon or Supermacros.</p>
<p>Alternatively, you could break it into smaller macros, and give a piece to each toon. If you are transmuting five different gem types across a five man team, each toon could have their own macro.</p>
<p>It will do whichever transmute you have materials for.</p>

<p>Just substitute the gem type and change the DropItemOnUnit to point towards either your AH recipient, your Jewelcrafter, or the toon who will be mailing to the desired character (only one toon will be on the same account, for instant mailing).</p>
<p><strong>Addendum</strong></p>
<p>The alchemy guide I linked, has needed “x” amount of each herb. While there are other paths out there, they will end up being similar.</p>
<p>Having followed this guide for two toons so far, this is what I’ve needed. The link for each herb, is to the thottbot resource map for the zone with the best spawn rate.</p>
<p>Next run through, I’ll take note of which herbs are orange recipes (Fixed number of herbs) and which are yellow/green (Estimated number of herbs).</p>
